From young children to adults, our ministries exist to teach God’s Word, foster spiritual growth, and equip believers to live out their faith. Each ministry reflects our mission to pass down the truth of Scripture to future generations and strengthen the body of Christ.
Gabriel Ministry Early childhood
Ages 3-5 • Sun 10:30am
Building wonder in God’s Word from the very beginning.
The Gabriel Ministry is inspired by the angel Gabriel, who brought messages of hope and good news (Luke 1:19, 1:26-28). Through joyful worship, simple Bible stories, and hands-on learning, children begin to understand who God is and how much He loves them.
Samuel Ministry Children
Ages 6-11 • Sun 10:30am in Jerusalem Sanctuary
Helping children build a strong foundation of truth and trust.
Named after the young prophet Samuel, who was called by God and faithfully responded (1 Samuel 3), this ministry helps elementary-aged children develop a strong connection to God’s Word. Kids learn the story of the Bible, explore faith in action, and form friendships in a safe, joyful environment.
Gideon Ministry Youth group
Ages 12-18 • Sun 10:30am in Hebron Sanctuary
Equipping teens to own their faith and walk boldly with Christ.
The Gideon Ministry takes inspiration from the story of the Judge Gideon, who trusted God despite his feelings of inadequacy and led Israel to victory (Judges 6-7). For teenagers navigating the challenges of adolescence, this ministry provides a safe space to grow in courage and faith. Through Bible studies, mentoring, and fellowship, teens are empowered to trust God’s plans and boldly stand firm in their identity as His children.
Michael Ministry Young adults
Ages 19-29
Becoming rooted, resilient disciples of Christ.
Named after Michael, the archangel who leads God’s army in spiritual battles (Revelation 12:7-9), this ministry equips young adults to live purposefully and navigate the challenges of adulthood with faith and integrity. Through Bible studies, discipleship, small group discussions, and meaningful community, these young adults learn to put on the armor of God, to fight spiritual battles with confidence, and deepen their relationship with God.
Mahanaim Ministry
Ages 30-40
Living faithfully in the “middle years” in work, family, and faith.
Mahanaim is a ministry for those in their 30s seeking to follow God thoughtfully through work, relationships, and life transitions. It’s name, meaning “two camps,” reminds us that we walk in both the practical realities of life and the presence of God. Through Scripture, prayer, and community, we pursue spiritual formation and purposeful service in our city and beyond.
Women & Men’s Ministries
Ages 40+
Growing in Christ together through truth, accountability, and grace.
This Ministry includes the faithful men and women who lead Evergreen Presbyterian Church with tireless devotion. They are spiritual pillars, serving as workmen and mentors to the next generation. Their wisdom, unwavering faith, and Christ-like love inspire the entire church as they work tirelessly for God’s kingdom. They are living examples of faith in action, ensuring the legacy of the gospel continues for years to come.
